Emily VanCamp
Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her lead roles in many television series as well as her outstanding performances on film. Her fan base is large on American as well as Canadian TV. When Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie on the set of one of her film. Once she had discovered that acting was a love, she began to learn how to act as well as attend auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were, but soon got cast as a child actor on the Canadian television show, Are You Scared of Darkness? The only scene that she had was one with no sound. On the WB program Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Although the show was canceled after just nine episodes, Emily's acting attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily was also a ballet dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. Emily was listed as number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
